The viol (1 hole Tourte style) mute is designed for studio recording or where mezzo piano is required. Precision engineered to fit on single strings on in-between two strings. Features a unique locking/anti-rattle design for quick on off and reliability.
The disc (2 hole Tourte style) mute is designed for live orchestral performance or where pianissimo is desired. Features a unique locking/anti-rattle design for quick on off and reliability.
The u-shaped dual tone produces either a mezzo piano or pianissimo depending on its placement on top of our pushed up against the bridge. Attaches and detaches in seconds and features a unique sliding string lock.
The square can be mounted as either a disc mute for a pianissimo or reversed and used as slide mute for a subtle mezzo piano. Great for changing the warmth of the instrument during a recording session.
